One of the biggest surprises of the IPL 2016 auction, Kishore Kamath was snapped up for a whopping Rs 1.4 crore by the Mumbai Indians. The relatively unknown 21-year-old was sold for 14 times his base price of Rs. 10 lakh. A leg-spinner, Kamath was called for a trial camp held by the franchise and was later picked up at the auction. In his short career so far, he has put in strong performances while playing in the first division league in Bangalore. Kishore, who is from Hubli, trains at the KSCA Academy.
