Muhammad Saghir Khan is a promising seam bowling all-rounder for the United Arab Emirates. Having developed his game within the UAE’s domestic circuit, he has steadily risen through the ranks to earn recognition at the international level. As of now, he is only part of the T20I side and yet to make his debut in ODIs. 

The 1999-born cricketer has been a consistent performer in the UAE’s domestic and franchise competitions, representing sides such as Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah, Gulf Giants and the ILT20 Marvels. His record across T10 and T20 formats highlights his versatility. In T10 cricket, he has accumulated over 250 runs at a healthy strike rate while also taking more than 25 wickets with his disciplined medium-pace bowling. In the longer T20 format, he has produced valuable all-round contributions, scoring crucial runs in the lower middle order and adding regular breakthroughs with the ball.

He made his international debut for the UAE in May 2025 during a T20I against Bangladesh in Sharjah, where he made an immediate impact by taking two wickets. Since then, he has featured in multiple T20Is, combining aggressive batting with steady bowling spells. His highest T20I score to date is 28 not out.

With his ability to influence matches in both departments, Saghir Khan is considered one of the bright prospects in UAE cricket. As he gains more international exposure, he is expected to become a vital figure in the Emirates’ quest for greater success on the global stage.
