A well-composed lower-order batsman and an efficient gloveman, Kiplin Doriga is a professional cricketer for the Papua New Guinea national team who was also part of the U-19 squad of PNG.
Kiplin was first capped at the senior level in an ODI fixture against Scotland on November 24th, 2017 and scored 34 runs on his debut batting at the number six position. A week later, the youngster got the opportunity to participate in the only red-ball match of his career, playing in a first-class match against Hong Kong. Opening the innings, he scored 40 runs on his debut and built a solid foundation of 90 runs with his opening partner but ended up on the losing side.
After being named in PNG’s side for the T20 World Cup, Kiplin would be facing stiff competition with Simon Attai for a place in the playing XI.
