Jamal Richards is a 21-year-old English cricketer known for his all-round abilities. Richards bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium. He attended Norlington High School in Waltham Forest, where he drew inspiration from the former England captain and legend, Graham Gooch, who was a part of the alumni.
He joined the Essex Academy at the tender age of 11 and has progressed with flying colours ever since, passing through various age groups. Richards made his Essex second XI debut in 2015, where he bowled 44 overs and bagged nine wickets with an impressive strike rate of 28.56. The English all-rounder is expected to make his debut in the 2022 edition of the T20 Blast and will be a fascinating prospect for the future.
