Ishwar Pandey is a lean and tall fast bowler from Madhya Pradesh who made his first-class debut in 2010. He then went on to become the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy in the 2012-13 season. Pandey earned his first IPL contract with Pune Warriors India and owing to his consistency in the domestic circuit, he earned his India call up for Test and ODI squads for the 2014 tour of New Zealand. He was later bought by the Chennai Super Kings in the subsequent IPL auction. After playing for PWI and CSK, Pandey has joined the Rising Pune Supergiants team for the ninth edition of IPL.
