A right-arm medium-pace bowler with the ability to churn out wickets with ease, Isai Thorne is an exciting young talent who has a dream to represent West Indies at the highest level.
Born in Guyana, Thorne always wanted to become a cricketer and he nurtured his game back in his hometown. His ability to generate pace and bounce separated him from the other bowlers and Thorne was quickly fast-tracked by the selectors.
Eventually, he started playing Under-19 cricket for the West Indies and was a part of the Under-19 squad that toured England in 2021.
So far, Thorne has played 4 Youth ODI games and has bagged 8 wickets, at a healthy average of 23.00. He is the future of Windies cricket and has to be nurtured properly by the team management.
