A left-handed middle-order batsman, Gajanand Singh is a professional cricketer for the USA who first came on the US radar in May 2018 when he was invited to cricket combine trials in New York. The former Guyana batsman made his domestic debut against Jamaica in January 2008 prior to representing West Indies in the 2006 U-19 World Cup.
The Berbice-born never got the chance of donning the Maroon jersey at the senior level and decided to move countries to fulfil his dreams of playing cricket at the highest level. After spending over 2 years at the domestic level in the US, the southpaw earned his maiden call-up to the national side for the ODI series against PNG and made his debut on September 6th, 2021.
At 33 years of age, Gajanand Singh has loads of experience at the domestic level and he is a vital addition to this new US team that is trying to build its name alongside other cricket playing nations.
