From the historic lands of Kapilbastu has emerged one of Nepal’s most exciting young talents — Durgesh Gupta, an all-rounder who plays cricket with the energy of a rising comet and the confidence of a seasoned performer. Born on 25 December 2004, Durgesh has rapidly grown into a player who commands attention every time he steps onto the field.

A right-handed power-hitter and a left-arm medium-fast bowler, Durgesh brings a rare skill combination that makes him a genuine match-winner in any format. With the bat, he is fearless and explosive — a player who doesn’t just look to score runs but looks to dominate. His clean hitting and natural ability to clear the boundary have already made him a fan favourite at the youth level.
