Ashwin Hebbar is a right-handed batter representing Andhra Pradesh in the domestic circuit. He was the leading run-scorer for Andhra in the 2018-19 edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) with 299 runs in 8 matches. 

His average read 42.72, and the strike rate saw 81.02 in the particular season. 

The 26-year-old is known for his powerful shots and aggressive stroke play. Hebbar generally bats either in the middle or top-order for Andhra.

The Nellore-born cricketer also bowls right-arm medium-pace and has an uncanny ability to get crucial wickets. He is very effective on slow and low pitches and varies his pace quite well. The part-time bowler also has some slower off-cutters in his armoury.

Hebbar made his first-class debut in January 2015 against Tripura but only scored four runs. After some blissful performances, he made his T20 debut against Goa in 2015 and cemented his spot in the Andhra team. 

In February 2022, Hebbar was bought by the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction at his base price of INR 20 Lakhs. He would be hoping to showcase what he possesses in the grandest stages.
