An explosive opening batter and a useful leggie, Ashley Day is a professional Australian cricketer for the Hobart Hurricanes. The 22-year old arrived at the domestic circuit in the 2018-19 season for Tasmania.

After her exploits in the domestic stages, the youngster signed her maiden Women’s Big Bash League contract from the Hobart Hurricanes but didn’t get an opportunity to showcase her skills. She moved from Tasmania to Western Australia to play in the Women’s National Cricket League in the 2019-20 season.

Still just 22 years old, Ashley has been consistent with her all-round performances in the WNCL and would be hoping to get match time for the Hurricanes in the upcoming WBBL and prove her worth to the selectors.
