Another promising young cricketer to have come out of the New South Wales age-group cricket, Arjun Nair is an Australian cricketer who plays for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
A right-arm off-break bowler with an ability to chip in with vital runs, Nair made his first-class debut for NSW in the 2015-16 Sheffield Shield. Ahead of 2016-17 he signed his first contract with Sydney Thunder and made his debut on December 22, 2016.
Nair played a valuable role for Thunder in their journey towards the BB Finals. He showcased his all-round abilities as he scalped 9 wickets in the entire tournament and scored nearly 100 runs to steer his side towards the final.
