This 22-year-old right-hand opening batsman from Hyderabad, with Rahul Dravid and Michael Hussey as idols, is a consistent run-getter. A former India U-19 cricketer, Reddy was impressive on his domestic debut in all three formats – he scored 77 in his limited-overs debut, followed it up with an unbeaten 105 against Mumbai in his Twenty20 debut and then he went on to score 70 on Ranji Trophy debut against Tripura. Taken in by Deccan Chargers before the 2012 season, Reddy has a highest score of 42.
