18-year old Aditya Garhwal is a right-handed batsman currently playing for the Rajasthan U-19 team. He has been creating waves in the domestic circuit for quite some time after scoring 763 runs in five innings of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy last year that had 38 sixes and 68 fours. He has been labeled as a wonder kid of sorts for his exploits in the tournament that included two double centuries and a score of 196 to go with it. He has caught the attention of senior India players with Suresh Raina presenting him an autographed bat and even Delhi Daredevils scouts monitoring his performance. He is also known as little Virender Sehwag for imperious stroke-play because he often scores more runs than balls faced.
