A death bowling specialist, Abhinash Bohara is a professional Nepalese cricketer who is widely appreciated for his toe-crushing yorkers and his nail-biting death over finishes. After failing to succeed in the Indian Army trials, he commenced his cricketing journey representing Nepalgunj at the U-19 levels.
After some solid performances in the national tournament in Kathmandu, Abhinash earned his maiden callup in the U-19 Nepal squad in 2014. Travelling with the senior squad for over two years, the 24-year old’s dream finally came true when he got the opportunity to don the crimson-red jersey.
Abhinash made his international debut against UAE in a T20 fixture on January 31st 2019 and has gone on to become a mainstay in the shortest format for Nepal. Also acknowledged as a yorker specialist by his Nepalese teammates, Abhinash’s journey has been an inspirational one and he would be hoping to reach new heights in the upcoming years.
