Abigale Emma Molly Norgrove has been a solid right-handed batter and a very useful part-time off-spin bowler in the English women's domestic circuit.
The 2006-born cricketer made her county debut for Oxfordshire in 2019 in the Women's County Championship. Interestingly, in that match, Abi Norgrove made an impact with her off-breaks by a couple of wickets.
She even became her side's joint-leading wicket-taker in the 2021 Vitality Women's County T20.
Later, she started focusing more on batting, especially after her selection in the squad of the Southern Vipers Academy, where she stayed till 2023.
Norgrove's performances caught the attention of national selectors, leading to her inclusion in the England Women’s U-19 tour of Sri Lanka in March 2024.
Later, in 2025, her biggest career breakthrough came when she was appointed as the skipper of England for the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia. The team went on to reach the tournament's semifinal, where India defeated them.
Currently, Norgrove plays for Hampshire, while in The Hundred, she is part of the London Spirit squad.
