This Tamil Nadu batsman is a very gifted left-hand opener. He made heads turn early on in his career and got the opportunity to prove himself when he was picked for the India U-19 team even before he made his first-class debut. A century on debut further highlighted Mukund's ability with the bat. He was part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in IPL 2012 but didn't play a game. For someone with outstanding numbers in the longer version of the game, Mukund will be hoping for his skills to translate to the Twenty20 format during IPL 2013 turning out for RCB.
