A bright all-rounder, Aaron Thomason is a professional English cricketer who is mainly a white-ball cricketer for the Warwickshire County. He was a part of the youth set-up and also showcased his skills for the U-19 England squad in 2015 before making his arrival at the English domestic circuit two years later.
The Birmingham-born didn’t play a single Championship fixture but was a regular in the Bears’ limited-overs squad. Thomason made 45 appearances for Warwickshire making his debut against Middlesex in a List A fixture at Lord's as a 17-year-old in 2014. After featuring in just a single Royal London Cup fixture in 2019, he left the County with mutual consent and was later signed by Sussex on an undisclosed-length contract.
Thomason made his Championship debut against Worcestershire on June 18th, 2019, five years after making his List A debut, and played a match-saving inning of 90 runs in the second innings. Known mostly for his bowling, he shone on his first-class debut in the batting department and cemented his place in Sussex’s red-ball team.
After getting a breakthrough in all three formats for Sussex, the 24-year old would be hoping to continue his development as a cricketer and fulfil an important role at the County.
