Simarjeet Singh is a right-arm medium pacer who plays for Delhi in India’s domestic circuit. The player debuted for the side in Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad in November 2018. He has been a crucial member of Delhi’s first-class side with his ability to click 140 kmph. 

Simarjeet has been a part of the Delhi Capitals’ net bowling unit for the past few seasons where he caught the attention of national team scouts. He also became a part of Team India’s excursion to Sri Lanka this year serving as a net bowler.

Interestingly, the player earned his first IPL contract in IPL Mega-auction 2022 as the four-time champion side, Chennai Super Kings bought him at his base price of INR 20 lakhs, where he played a handful of matches. For the 2025 edition of the league, the medium pacer will don Sunrisers Hyderabad's orange jersey.

Apart from this, he also replaced injured Arjun Tendulkar for Mumbai Indians in the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
