Smaran Ravichandran made a name for himself during the 2024 Maharaja T20 when he slammed 302 runs in 9 innings, averaging 43.14. The impressive tournament helped him earn a place in the Ranji Trophy with the Karnataka team.

Further, Smaran grabbed the opportunity with both hands and amassed 516 runs in 10 innings, averaging 64.50 in that tournament. The Ranji Trophy highlighted the fact that Smaran is not a fluke, but a proper cricketing talent who needs to be nurtured.
Smaran’s breakthrough tournament was Ranji Trophy 2025-26, scoring 950 runs in 14 innings, averaging 86.36. Notably, he now has a chance to prove his mettle as a powerhitter on his IPL debut and make it memorable.
