On Sunday, July 26, India concluded their Zimbabwe trip on a positive note as the Shreyas Iyer-led side clean-swept The Chevrons. It was a collective effort from the Men in Blue, but Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stole the limelight with his performance.
The 15-year-old was under a lot of pressure before Zimbabwe because of a poor UK tour. The RR opener only amassed 42 runs in 3 innings, averaging 14. However, Sooryavanshi turned things around this time and won the Player of the Series award.
