Arjun Tendulkar has been included in LSG playing XI for their final league match of the IPL 2026 season. The young paceman took on Punjab Kings in match 68 of the tournament at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday, May 23.

The match marked Arjun’s first appearance in an IPL playing XI after a gap of two years, and his first for the LSG franchise ever since he was traded out by the Mumbai Indians late last year. Celebrating his LSG debut, here is a look at how much the junior Tendulkar earned for the IPL 2026 season, as well as his IPL salary over the years.

Arjun Tendulkar journey in IPL

Arjun Tendulkar was first roped in by the Mumbai Indians franchise for the IPL 2021 season. However, the cricketer opted himself out of the tournament owing to an injury. He was also purchased by the Mumbai Indians the following auction for IPL 2022, and remained associated with the franchise for the subsequent three editions of the tournament.

Despite spending four seasons with Mumbai Indians, young Arjun played just five games for the franchise, and just one in IPL 2024 and 2025 seasons combined.

In the five matches he played for the franchise, the speedster picked up three wickets at an expensive bowling average of 38.

In November 2025 prior to the IPL 2026 auction, young Tendulkar was traded out to a pace-heavy LSG franchise, where he joined the likes of fellow fast bowlers Mohammed Shami, Prince Yadav, Mohsin Khan and others.

Goa fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar was roped in by the LSG franchise late last year for a sum of Rs. 30 lakhs. 

The cricketer was let go by the Mumbai Indians after receiving inadequate opportunities in the team’s playing XI over the last couple of seasons. While young Tendulkar played just five matches for the franchise during his four-year stint, he played four of those in a single edition, doing so in IPL 2023.

The left-arm quick even delivered a match-winning spell for his side, in a match against the SRH in Hyderabad on April 18, 2023.

Tendulkar’s IPL salary over the years

Arjun, son of legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar, bagged a Rs. 30 lakh deal for the Mumbai Indians back in IPL 2022. He was also retained by the franchise for the same amount over the next two editions of the tournament.

Prior to IPL 2025, Tendulkar was once again roped in by the Mumbai Indians for Rs. 30 lakhs at the auction. With his latest LSG signing, the young speedster has so far garnered cumulative IPL earnings of Rs. 1.50 crores.

With limited opportunities across the last few seasons, the uncapped Indian paceman will hope his LSG debut serves as a reminder of his potential ahead of future IPL campaigns. The left-arm pacer’s latest outing also adds another chapter to a career that continues to draw attention owing to both pedigree and promise.
