Rajasthan Royals' 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made it a task to shatter records in his every IPL outing. On Wednesday, the one-time winners locked horns against Lucknow Super Giants, where the southpaw etched his name in history with golden letters.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has got off to a brilliant start in IPL 2026 and extended his great run against LSG, where he completed 500 runs in IPL with just a four on the second ball of the innings.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Becomes Fastest To 500 IPL Runs
As mentioned above, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who completed 500 IPL runs, is the youngest and fastest to reach this milestone. Notably, the 15-year-old, who made his IPL debut last season, achieved the feat in just 227 balls. He beat Glenn Maxwell's record.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Youngest To 500 IPL Runs
As mentioned previously, the 15-year-old has made a mockery of the league and become the youngest player to score 500 IPL runs. He beat Prithvi Shaw's record, who scripted the same at the age of 19 years and 164 days.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Registers Slowest IPL Knock After Historic Milestone
Shortly after completing 500 IPL runs, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi struggled against Mohsin Khan. The southpaw failed to get going and unlike his reputation he returned to the pavillion after scoring 8 (11), which featured a couple of fours.
Interestingly, it was a wicket-maiden over and Mohsin Khan became the first player in IPL history to bowl a maiden over to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Interestingly, Mohsin is the only player in this season to bowl a maiden and he has done it twice in IPL 2026.
Talking about the ongoing match, Rajasthan Royals are in deep trouble as the Riyan Parag-led side are reduced to 47/3 after 6.2 overs. Further, shedding light on Sooryavanshi's overall IPL performance, the 15-year-old has scored 254 runs in seven innings, averaging 36.29.
The youngster has two fifty-plus scores in the season so far. Interestingly, it was his 2nd single-digit score in the season.
