This is the fourth consecutive edition in which the Tristan Stubbs-led SEC have reached this stage of the tournament, making it a record of 100 per cent final appearances since the competition’s inception in 2023. So far, they have won in two editions; however, they fell short in the last season.

On the other hand, Pretoria Capitals are the second-time finalists under the leadership of Keshav Maharaj after Wayne Parnell led them to a final in the inaugural season in 2023.
