Australia and Zimbabwe will face off in Match 19 of Group B at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 13. The AUS vs ZIM match is set to start from 11:00 AM IST.

Australia sit at the top of the group with a strong net run rate of 3.350 after a dominant 67-run victory over Ireland. The batting unit, led by Travis Head, looks settled and explosive, with Tim David also in fray to join the match.

Zimbabwe, however, cannot be underestimated. They secured an eight-wicket win over Oman and carry a healthy net run rate of 2.702. Captain Sikandar Raza remains their key all-rounder, while Brian Bennett will be expected to remain consistent with the bat.

AUS vs ZIM: Key player battles

Travis Head vs Blessing Muzarabani

Travis Head has been one of the most destructive middle-order batters in limited-overs cricket. Blessing Muzarabani, Zimbabwe’s premier fast bowler, stands at 6’8” and consistently generates uncomfortable lift and late movement.

If Muzarabani can hit the right lengths and target Head’s ribs or helmet, he has the tools to disrupt Australia’s momentum. Head, however, will look to take him on with pulls and drives.

Cameron Green vs Sikandar Raza

Sikandar Raza brings his wily off-spin to challenge Australia's towering Cameron Green. Green, stepping up without Mitchell Marsh, handles spin solidly with his long reach and high backlift.

If Raza outsmarts Green for a key breakthrough, Zimbabwe gain momentum. If Green, at No. 3, rotates strike or launches boundaries, Australia control the game.

Adam Zampa vs Sikandar Raza

Adam Zampa remains Australia’s go-to wrist-spinner and one of the best in white-ball cricket. His accuracy, clever variations and ability to strike in the middle overs make him a constant threat. Sikandar Raza features as Zimbabwe’s key hope against spin.

He reads spinners well and uses his feet effectively. If Zampa can outfox him with flight and turn, it could trigger a collapse. If Raza dominates the matchup, Zimbabwe stay in the hunt longer.

Australia vs Zimbabwe toss prediction

The average score at R Premadasa Stadium in the T20 World Cup 2026 so far is just 120. It is known to be a bowling-friendly venue, and as expected, it gave something to the spinners.

Pacers also get an early assist in the pitch, and given the fact that two of the matches played here this season were won by teams batting first, the captain winning the toss would like to bat first.

AUS vs ZIM Match Winner Prediction: Who Will Win Match 19?

Australia have won 2 out of 3 T20I clashes against Zimbabwe in head-to-head encounters. Though Australia have been struggling with poor form in their recent T20I fixtures, they still remain the favourites.

With heavyweights in their bank like Travis Head, Tim David, Adam Zampa etc, Australia therefore, remain the favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2026 match against Zimbabwe.
