With Netherlands requiring 28 more runs to win off the remaining six deliveries, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav called back Shivam Dube to bowl the final over of the game. In the first ball of his over, Netherlands batter Zach Lion-Cachet whacked the slower delivery outside off stump towards his off side. The ball went high up in the air, with Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh converging from extra cover and long-off regions respectively. While both Suryakumar and Rinku were sprinting towards the ball, and towards each other, the two cricketers applied brakes just in time, much to the relief of Indian cricket fans. The Indian skipper collapsed on the ground and was seen in visible discomfort for a while before play resumed at the venue.
