The India vs New Zealand clash in the Under-19 World Cup 2026 heated up as India gained a stronghold over their opponents at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. However, what truly caught everyone’s attention was RS Ambrish’s spectacular yorker, which left Marco William Alpe’s stumps shattered.
Ambrish delivered a peach of a delivery to stun the New Zealand batter who was batting for his team in the first innings. Ambrish breathed fire in the match with the ball and exposed the Kiwi top and middle order with his fiery performance with the ball.
His special delivery that would even make India star Jasprit Bumrah hide his face was a work of art for the 18-year-old.
RS Ambrish shatters the stumps in style
Speaking of the wicket, on the sixth ball of the ninth over, RS Ambrish uprooted the leg stump of Marco William Alpe with a searing delivery. He charged in and delivered a yorker that tailed in sharply inside the stumps.

As the delivery was a sensational one, Alpe failed to bring his bat down in time and was beaten by the pace as the ball slipped through the gap between bat and pad, uprooting the leg stump and sending the bails flying.
Ambrish brings New Zealand’s downfall
The delivery was a masterpiece to watch, and the team celebrated the wicket with New Zealand tottering at 22 for 4 at the end of nine overs. Ambrish took with three wickets at an economy rate of 2.83, with opener Hugo Bogue and Tom Jones also falling to him.
Alpe came to the crease after Aryan Mann’s dismissal in the eighth over, when New Zealand were already struggling at 17 for 3. However, Alpe’s intervention did not make much difference, as he was dismissed for just one run off seven deliveries while trying to settle at the crease.
Alpe’s wicket pushed New Zealand further into jeopardy, leaving their first innings in shambles with very few runs on the board for India to chase.
