Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals are in for another thriller as things have heated up at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Notably, the hosts, batting first, tumbled for just 141 runs on the board.

What seemed an easy target was turned difficult after Delhi Capitals lost four wickets within the powerplay. LSG seamers breathed fire and left no room for the experienced batters to display their class.

LSG Bowlers Rattle Through DC's Top Order

Mohammed Shami came to bowl the first over of the match and took the crucial wicket of KL Rahul on the first ball of the 2nd innings. Notably, it was KL's 3rd golden duck and two of them have been off Shami's bowling.

Eventually, Prince Yadav stole the show and picked up two wickets in the powerplay. He first got rid of Pathum Nissanka, who got out for a solitary run on his IPL debut.

The right-arm seamer then got the most-important scalp of DC captain Axar Patel. It was a ripper that rattled Axar's leg-stump. Yadav was steaming pace and was pumped up which is when he engaged in a heated battle with Tristan Stubbs.

Prince Yadav And Tristan Stubbs Engage In A Fight

Tristan Stubbs walked to bat when DC were four down. The incident occured after the 4th ball of the 5th over, when Yadav approached Proteas batter and said something to him that trigged the right-handed batter.

The exact conversation is unclear but Prince's words got Stubbs talking as well and the umpire had to intervene and get the game going without any fuss. The offical requested the two to calm down and get on with the game.

Notably, one potential reason behind Prince Yadav gettin agitated was the fact that Stubbs hit him for a four on the first ball of his innings.

As mentioned above, Delhi Capitals were reduced to 26/4 and were on their way of a heavy defeat. However, Stubbs and Sameer Rizvi took the onus on their shoulders and stitched an unbeaten 76-runs stand for the fifth wicket.

Tristant Stubbs replied to Prince Yadav with the bat and made sure he stayed until the end and take the game deep. Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, Delhi Capitals are 108/4 after 14.3 overs and require 30 runs to win in 32 balls.

Stubbs scored 32 (28) and played his role brilliantly. Notably, he assisted Sameer Rizvi, who played the role of an aggressor and slammed a brilliant fifty to help Capitals seal two points.

Prince Yadav, on the other hand, registered the figures of 2/20 in his three overs. The skipper didn't bring him back for his fourth over.
