The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have confirmed the dates for ticket sales of the upcoming IPL 2026 playoffs fixtures. The Indian board made the huge announcement on Monday, May 18, i.e., mere moments prior to the penultimate league match of the CSK and SRH franchises this season.
IPL 2026 playoffs tickets to go on sale from this date
The BCCI has confirmed that the IPL 2026 playoffs tickets will go live for sale from Wednesday, May 20 onwards. However, only the fans with RuPay Credit cards will be able to secure the tickets for Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 20, as part of their exclusive 24-hour priority access window.
The non-exclusive ticket sales for Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be available for sale from the following day, i.e., Thursday, May 21.
For Qualifier 2 and the Final, RuPay Credit Cardholders will receive their exclusive 24-hour priority access window on Friday, May 22. Similarly, the non-exclusive sale of tickets for the final two games will be available from Saturday, May 23. Here is a look at the entire ticket sales schedule of the IPL 2026 playoffs matches.

The BCCI has appointed District by Zomato as their official ticketing agency for the IPL 2026 playoff matches.
Fans can purchase the tickets either from the platform’s application, or from its official website - https://www.district.in/
Fans can also attend the official IPL website – https://www.iplt20.com for booking match tickets.
IPL 2026 playoffs schedule unveiled by BCCI
A couple of weeks ago, the BCCI unveiled the schedule of all four IPL 2026 playoff fixtures. As per the official itinerary, Punjab Kings' home ground, the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur will host the Eliminator and Qualifier 2.
Meanwhile, the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala will host Qualifier 1, and the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the high-stakes IPL 2026 final later this month. Here is a look at the entire schedule of the IPL 2026 playoffs.
The Gujarat Titans franchise, meanwhile, looks firm contenders to become the second team to qualify for the knockouts, as Shubman Gill and co. have already reached 16 points.
For the remaining two slots, it appears to be a four-horse race between SRH, Punjab Kings, CSK and the Rajasthan Royals, at least as of May 18 evening.
