Right then, after 32 high-octane matches in the Women's T20 World Cup 2026, we are here! It is an Australia vs England final at the Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday, July 5. 

Under Sophie Molineux's leadership, Australia Women are back and roaring after missing out on clinching an ICC event last year in India. In this tournament, they haven't dropped a single game. 

The Kangaroos have already lifted this trophy six times, and they would love to add one more to their cabinet. They enjoy a healthy 5-2 lead over the English side in T20 World Cups, and they have never lost an ICC final to England. 

However, England have also not broken a sweat in this Women's T20 World Cup. Not only have they yet to lose an ICC tournament at home, but they have also not lost a T20I fixture at Lord's.

The hosts, England, have made no changes to the Playing XI, and the same team that defeated South Africa in the semifinal has been fielded.

Meanwhile, for Australia Women, there was a scare over Ellyse Perry's availability after she retired hurt in the semifinal against West Indies. (Whether there has been any discussion on what to do after winning the toss?) There's been a lot of discussion. I don't think the pitch will change too much.

(Any changes and is Perry playing today?) We have got no changes. Pez pulled up really well in the training yesterday.

(On captaining Australia in a T20 WC Final at Lord's) It sounds pretty wild. Special day.

(On the 5-day break before this clash) The girls got a couple of days off. We got cross town. Then got a couple of training sessions and are looking forward to the final."

Nat Sciver-Brunt (England Women Captain): "(What she would have done) Umm, I was going to bowl first as well. It's a fresh wicket, runs on the board in a final is no bad thing. So, happy to bat first as well.

(Changes?) Nah, we are unchanged.

(Pressure as a captain in a final) Umm, it will be silly of me not to lean on that experience. I think the whole group throughout this tournament has experienced different grounds, different conditions and different pressures. We have produced some really good cricket along the way.
