Chris Green struck one six off his lone ball and Patrick Dooley retired himself out without facing a delivery as Australia Sixes mounted 115 runs in six overs.

For Afghanistan, Karim Janat (1-27) and Nangeyalia Khan (1-17) picked up one wicket each in the innings.

Chasing 116 runs for a win in six overs, Afghanistan Sixes lost both openers, including captain Gulbadin Naib, inside the first two overs of the innings.

Karim Janat made 13 off five balls with a boundary and a six before getting caught-and-bowled by Patrick Dooley (1-35), and Naib charted 17 off six balls with a boundary and two huge maximums before getting deceived by Chris Green.

Tottering at 32-2 in 1.4 overs, middle-order batters Farmanullah and Imran Mir forged together an 87-run unbeaten partnership for the third wicket from just 21 deliveries. Farmanullah launched four huge sixes in his electrifying seven-ball knock that yielded 26 runs for the Afghanistan Sixes team.
