As the match progressed, Aakash Chopra hinted at the recent reports of Parthiv Patel becoming the next chief selector and caught him off guard live on air.“You are a coach; you are also a commentator, and you have been in the news recently as well. Which role do you enjoy the most? The one that you have already done or the one that is coming?” Chopra asked.Interestingly, Patel did not reveal any details about the news doing the rounds and preferred speaking about living in the present.“I believe in staying in the present. When we played the game, we were taught that the ball that has gone by does not matter, and you don’t have to think about the one that is coming up.
