That’s all from this contest, folks! We hope you enjoyed our ball-by-ball coverage. For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Tom Taylor (POTM): "[Reflections on that win?] Yeah, absolutely delighted. Things worked out nicely for me personally, and more importantly, for the team to get over the line.

[What worked well early for you?] The plan here is usually to win the toss and bowl first, especially on a fresh surface. We wanted to make the most of the early conditions, use the pitch to our advantage, and try to keep the ball swinging for as long as possible.

[On chat about run chase] I think the batting group had a few discussions during the break since our last game. The key message was to bat a little deeper into the innings than we perhaps have been doing. While the powerplay is generally a good time to score, it can also be a tricky phase at New Road because that's when the pitch tends to offer the most assistance. We managed that period really well today, came through the powerplay in a strong position, and then paced the chase nicely from there, which was very pleasing.

[On his game] I think since making the move from Northamptonshire to Worcestershire, I've been given a really clear role within the side. I've just been focusing on enjoying my cricket and bowling as well as I can. Taking the new ball has worked well for me so far, and it's pleasing to see things coming together at the moment."

12:52 AM IST, 8:22 PM Local Time: Worcestershire Rapids delivered a complete all-round performance to outclass Warwickshire Bears by six wickets with seven balls to spare. After producing a disciplined bowling effort to restrict the Bears to 141, the Rapids chased down the target comfortably with 7 balls to spare to return to winning ways. Warwickshire's struggles continue as they slump to their third consecutive defeat.

Earlier, Worcestershire Rapids produced a clinical bowling performance to dismiss Warwickshire for just 141 in 19.5 overs. Tom Taylor set the tone by removing Alex Davies with the first ball of the match, while Usama Mir starred with figures of 3/27. Adam Finch, Matthew Waite and Taylor also chipped in with two wickets each.

Despite fighting knocks from Robert Yates (45 off 31) and Jordan Thompson (37 off 31), Warwickshire struggled to build momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals. A 27-run partnership between Yates and Thompson briefly steadied the innings, but the Rapids maintained constant pressure and never allowed the Bears to take control.

In reply,
Openers Brett D’Oliveira and Isaac Mohammed laid a solid foundation with a 44-run opening stand, while D’Oliveira provided early momentum with a brisk 26 off 16 deliveries. After the first wicket fell, Isaac Mohammed (27) and Kashif Ali kept the scoreboard moving before Adam Hose joined Kashif in a crucial 47-run partnership for the third wicket. Hose contributed 23, while Kashif anchored the chase with a composed 36 off 30 balls.

Although Warwickshire managed to pick up a few wickets in the latter stages, Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 24 and guided the Rapids home alongside Ethan Brookes. Worcestershire reached 142/4 in 18.5 overs to seal a convincing win.

The Bears needed extraordinary effort to defend this total, and they failed to do so. Chris Woakes, Oliver Hannon-Dalby, Jordan Thompson, and Usman Tariq bagged one wicket each for them.
