So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Mohammad Anab as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture along with our scorer, Bishal Mandal.
Cricketing action doesn't stop here though as the Men's event, the Canada Super 60 kicks off in a few minutes' time with the White Rock Warriors taking on the Brampton Blitz. So, do switch over to the coverage of that fixture and enjoy some more fast-paced cricket.
It was a superb and professional run chase from Marizanne Kapp and the Vancouver Warriors as they kick off the campaign with a victory. Toronto Sixers had their own positives to carry into their upcoming fixtures.
Marizanne Kapp (POTM & Vancouver Warriors Women's Captain): "(On her tournament experience) It was actually a lot more fun than I expected. I was very nervous coming into this game, obviously because the tournament conditions were different and I didn't know the players. So, yeah, I'm just really happy with the win.
(On any chat with the side before going for the record chase) We actually didn't have a chat today specifically about that. We had just said yesterday, “Play good cricket shots.” Don't get too carried away with the conditions or the shape of the field. Just play to your strengths. I felt like we probably did that very well with the bat today.
(Any adjustments needed for the 10-over format) I felt like we were going to have to adapt, but it actually felt quite similar to a T20 game. Obviously, everything happens so quickly, but it felt very similar to T20 cricket."

Time for post-match presentations...
03:54 AM IST, 03:24 PM Local Time: A statement of intent from Vancouver Warriors as the Marizanne Kapp-led side start the campaign with a resounding 7-wicket victory over Toronto Sixers. Kapp led from the front with an unbeaten 74-run knock to help the Warriors complete the chase with an over to spare.
Chasing 107 for victory, Sophie Reid got out early as her bad game came to an end after being castled by Sophia Smale in the second over. A few deliveries later, Laura Cardoso and Bess Heath combined to get rid of Camy Desai for 9 as well. Thereafter, there was no looking back for the Warriors as Marizanne Kapp and Grace Scrivens put on a cracking 84-run partnership off just 39 balls.
