The Women's event comes to an end but there is more cricket to be played in Canada. Match no. 15 and the final league game of the Men's event is coming up in an hour's time. Brampton Blitz take on the Montreal Royal Tigers at 11:15 AM IST, 10:45 PM Local Time. Do join us on time for that game.
The Women's Canada Super60 continues to get bigger. There were just 2 teams in the first edition, well now they have 3. It was a stunning spectacle over the last few days and deservingly the Toronto Sixers clinched their second title in as many years.

Marizanne Kapp led the Vancouver Warriors fantastically well, but her batting line up had an off day today and it came to bite them in the end. Despite the pressure applied at the top, the Sixers always just one big over to get back in the game. That is exactly what happened.
Mady Villiers collects the 'Winners Trophy' and joins the team behind the 'Champions' board. It is time for some smiles and snaps!
Mady Villiers (Toronto Sixers Women Captain): "[On the title win] I was just telling the girls when we finished that this is the most fun I have had playing cricket in a long time. The group helps but I think the competition is great. I hope that more overseas players want to come and be a part of it. I have had a blast.

[On the team being so involved throughout the tournament] It is not often that you see benches and sidelines that engrossed in the game. It just brings you back to when you used to play the game. Everybody loves it. I just speak highly enough of the competition. It was great.

[Any concerns in that chase?] Not really. Ella is a brilliant player. I have seen her score domestic 100s back home for fun. I was pretty confident in her. Indu played a superb knock too. Everyone played their part today.

[Would she encourage other players to get involved in the tournament?] 100%. I think it is brilliant. It kind of caps off our season quite nicely back home. It sort of is a nice send off for us to have a nice winter and yeah. Like I said, I cannot speak highly enough of the competition. I hope everybody wants to come and be a part of it."
The Toronto Sixers' players receive their 'Winner Medals' from Sana Mir.
The Vancouver Warriors' players receive their 'Runner-Up Medals.'
Marizanne Kapp (MVP & Vancouver Warriors Women Captain): "[How are you feeling?] Yeah, I'm fine. I'm not used to the advertising boards being closer to the boundary. Still proud of the girls.

[On her experience of playing in this competition] I didn't know what to expect but had a lot fun. It was a bit tough first few days. Obviously, don't know the girls and their skillset. First game, I didn't knew what I was doing. Kudos to the players and the support staff for helping me out. It's a lot of fun. It's ultimately cricket. It feels like a T20 game. Different talent which we don't get to play against the associate teams. In general, it's good for the women's game."
Most Valuable Player of the tournament: Marizanne Kapp (Vancouver Warriors)
Best Batter of the tournament: Marizanne Kapp (Vancouver Warriors)
