R Sanjay Yadav(Player of the Match) - The hamstring seems okay now! The plan was to get to 165-170 but the batters did an outstanding job to get to 198. The bowlers were really good too and hopefully they will continue with the momentum.

The Post Match Presentation is coming up!
18:30 IST and Local Time- The Trichy Grand Cholas have been clinical with both bat and ball and it has been an emphatic 35 run victory for them over the Salem Spartans. The Spartans fought hard but they lost far too many wickets in the middle overs and in the end, it was a bridge too far for them as they were all out for 163 in 18.3 overs.
The run chase began with an action packed powerplay. The Salem Spartans lost three wickets in it but we saw a sublime knock of 33 from just 10 balls from Rajendran Vivek. He took on the bowlers and seemed to be on a rampage before he mistimed one against Saravana Kumar. The Spartans ended the powerplay with 68/3 in six overs.
Mohammed Adnan Khan took things into his own hands and he kept the scoreboard moving even as the wickets continued to tumble. He played a measured knock of 40 runs from 31 balls but was dismissed by Rajkumar and it exposed the tail. Skipper Anthony Dhas was also instrumental for the Trichy Grand Cholas as he picked up two wickets in the middle overs.
Sunny Sandhu fought hard in the end but he was stranded at one end as the lower order collapsed from the other end. The pick of the bowlers was Saravana Kumar who picked up three wickets while Davidson got one as did Kannan Vignesh. Ravi Rajkumar also picked up a couple of wickets as he got Vaidhya early on and Kumaran towards the end of the innings.
