Three games have come to an end in the Hundred today. 2 women's games and this men's game. Now we shall move onto the final men's game of the day. London Spirit take on Birmingham Phoenix at Lord's in less than 30 minutes (10:30 PM IST, 6 PM Local Time). Do switch tabs and follow the coverage over there.
The Sunrisers Leeds have made Headingly their happy hunting ground. With this massive 71-run win, they have made a great case for themselves to qualify for the knockouts. Welsh Fire on the other hand, have made matters really difficult for themselves. Their NRR was already very bad, and this loss will not help it at all.

Mitchell Marsh (POTM): "[What the win means to Sunrisers and him?] Yeah, today was an important game for both teams. I thought we played brilliantly.

[On his own form] I have played four games here, which helps. Myself along with Ricks, we just try to get off to the best start. Not read too much into the game. Helped me be clear of what I want to do.

[On the slowish nature of the surface] Yeah, I thought in the powerplay, it felt like a good wicket but once the ball got older, they started to bowl into the wicket. The boys executed the plans really well, bowling into the surface."

9:48 PM IST, 5:18 PM Local Time: Sunrisers Leeds win by 71 runs! Sunrisers Leeds have played the perfect game. They are so dangerous at home with the aggressive batting line and varied bowling attack. The batters set the tone early and the bowlers just executed the plan given to them with perfection.
Welsh Fire won the toss and elected to bowl first. The openers of the Sunrisers set the tone early. Mitch Marsh (50 off 34) was early off the blocks and Ryan Rickleton (40 off 22) followed suit. The middle order did not disappoint. Harry Brook (23 off 11), Zak Crawley (34 off 12) and Dan Lawrence (29* off 15) pushed the score to 201/4 in 100 balls. The pick of the bowlers for the Fire were Chris Woakes (2/41) and Lockie Ferguson (1/22).
