[How the dug-out was feeling during the first half of the chase] I wasn't in the dug-out, imagine it was pretty flat. We have a lot of pride on ourself as a T20 side. What we saw in the first 14 overs wasn't us. Today was my day.
[On hogging the strike at the end] I knew I had to face as many balls as possible. Took a gamble by taking a single on the last ball of the 19th but it worked out in the end.
[Whether they are going to watch the FIFA WC semi-final between England and Argentina] Yeah, we are staying up tonight. We have had a logistical nightmare coming here, we are staying here in Sheffield and then traveling for the Finals Day."

They have shown us why they hold that tag and have a given Yorkshire a proper cricketing heartbreak. Craig Overton, you beauty. The game was dead and buried at 82/8 in that chase. He pulled it back from there and gave life to it when no one expected it. He ended up notching a maiden Blast 50 and the highest score by a number 9 in the history of the event to see his side over the line and push them into the semifinals.
Yorkshire won the toss and elected to bat first. They got off to a very patchy start and lost 3 wickets in the first six overs. They were in trouble at 41/3 before Adam Lyth and George Hill added 58 for the fourth wicket. They steadied the ship before another collapse broke out. From 99/3, Yorkshire slipped to 115/7. Adam Lyth was dismissed for 64 in that phase. Andrew Tye (16 off 8) and Hasan Ali (11* off 5) came up with some lower order blows to push the score to 161/9 in 20 overs. The pick of the bowlers for Somerset was Jake Ball for his 3/30. 2 wickets each for Craig Overton, Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith. At the halfway stage, 161 seemed 15-20 below par. It needed a superb bowling performance to defend that.
Well, Yorkshire were determined and came up with a bowling performance much better than superb. The quick bowlers ruled the roost and didn't allow Somerset any breathing space. In the top 5, only Will Smeed got a score above 2 before he was dismissed for 21. Thomas Rew (1), Tom Banton (1), James Rew (1) and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (2) were part of a disastrous collapse where Somerset were reduced to 38/5.
Lewis Goldsworthy and Lewis Gregory added 20 for the 6th wicket before Goldsworthy departed for 19. Daniel Sams was dismissed for a duck and Somerset were in a soup at 59/7. Captain Lewis Gregory added 23 runs for the 8th wicket stand with Craig Overton before Hasan Ali returned to take out Gregory for 22. The score stood at 82/8. There was no way one could even think that Somerset had a chance in the game at that point.
