(On the wicket) The wicket seemed to be pretty true. It was easier to play it towards the square. It was all about the intent early on.
(On their batting innings) I was trying to keep the intent up. We took on the powerplay and batted well in the back end. Bess Heath played a great knock towards the end. My job is to give my side a good start.
(On whether she focuses more on average or strike rate) I will probably go for strike rate and try to improve on that. (On whether they felt nervous in the end) They have a long batting lineup and Sutherland is a world class player. So yeah, she made us a bit nervous in the end. Was a great game of cricket and a great win. "

They incur a hat-trick of loss after a victory in their tourney curtain-raiser. The Rockets won the important phases of the game in both sessions, ending with back-to-back three victories. Arriving for the chase, the SunRisers got off to a sedate start, losing an early wicket. Although Phoebe Litchfield came in and tried to fancy around, she could not strong many boundaries. With Jess Jonassen by her side, the Leeds propelled to 50 runs in the 35-run partnership before the all-rounder's dismissal on the 44th ball. Twenty balls later, Litchfield succumbed to dot ball pressure, faltering for a 22-ball 26.
Danielle Gibson followed suit with 61 needed in the last five sets. Although the game tilted in the Rockets’ direction, Sutherland denied them an easy route.
