What a convincing win for TKR. The margin of victory might be just 23 runs but they seemed to dominate St Lucia Zouks from start to finish. The table-toppers were always going to be the favourites after posting 175 on the board since bowling is the stronger suit for the Zouks.
Even then, TKR had to be professional with the ball and that is exactly what they did. When it comes to Zouks' batting, it always seemed like a stop-start inning as they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Mark Deyal and Andre Fletcher did stitch a decent 59-run partnership but they didn't take the game away from TKR due to some excellent defensive bowling from Akeal Hosein and Sikandar Raza. The experienced duo of Keiron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo used their variations to limit Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran and Daren Sammy's big-hitting. Bravo, in particular, was mighty impressive as he kept on nailing his yorkers. This might have been even his best bowling performance of this CPL 2020.
