Gaby Lewis is the player of the match.
Three losses in three games for the Warriors as the Sapphires chase the modest total of 129 without losing a wicket in just 17.5 overs, thanks to a brilliant partnership from Elyse Villani and Gaby Lewis.

Earlier in the day, Warriors elected to bat first after winning the toss but lost the in form opener Hayley Matthews for just one in the second over. Esha Oza and Georgia Redmayne then provided stability to the Warriros batting in the powerplay. Oza was looking good but was dismissed in the eighth over by Tash Farrant (2-30).

Redmayne was then joined by Mignon du Preez (31 off 26). The duo batted with perfection throughout the innings and added 45 runs, taking singles and doubles at will and also making the most of the poor deliveries by getting boundaries with natural strokes and also experimented with some out of the box strokes which worked in their way and also were the reason behind both their dismissals.

Geetika Kodali from USA was the pick of the bowlers and had figues of 2-10 in her couple of overs. Tash Farrant also picked up a couple of wickets, Grace Harris picked up one. Shabnim Ismail failed to pick up a wicket but bowled a tidy spell with an economy of 3.25.

Shamilia Connell bowled an excellent tidy spell first up in the powerplay and conceded only 16 runs off her four overs. Sri Lankan medium pacer Udeshika Prabodhani bowled a tidy spell in the middle overs conceding only 21 runs in her four.

Vilani (62 off 51) and Lewis (62 off 57) then gave no chane to any other bowler as they attacked and played their strokes freely, giving no opportunity to any of the bowlers. They played all the strokes in the armory and scored all over the ground adding an unbeaten 133 runs and take their first victory in the tournament.
17.5 K Bryce to E Villani
4 Full toss on middle and leg. Swings hard in the leg side and connects the ball off the meaty part of the bat! An excellent pull shot for four runs! Warriors lose three out of three games.
17.4 K Bryce to G Lewis
1 Full on the off stump, driven to the left of mid off and gets across for a run.
17.3 K Bryce to E Villani
1 Length ball outside off, taps it to extra cover from the crease and gets an easy single.
17.2 K Bryce to E Villani
4 Followed by four runs off the bat! Fuller delivery on the stumps. Flicked off the pads, square of the wicket in the leg side. Deep midwicket chases and slides to her left but fails to get to the ball. 3 more needed to win.
17.1 K Bryce to E Villani
4b Over the wicket. Good length and outside the edge. Finds some drift away. Villani looks to cut but misses, so does the keeper. Four byes!
