So, that is it from me, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Kingshuk Kusari and Arijit Gupta. Do stay tuned to OneCricket's coverage of a lot more cricket matches
Rahil Shah: We almost a mess of this chase. So glad that Adnan stepped up to the occasion, really happy with it.
Adnan Khan, Man of the Match: I tried to punish the loose deliveries. I was very sad last time.
NS Chaturved: We were at least 10-15 runs short. The wicket was a bit sticky. It's a great platform - many of them have gone on from here to play the IPL and for India. There's a lot of talent in the districts and in Chennai city. J Kousik is a great person to have on the field - he put in a fine all-round performance today. We had a great start with the ball and were in the game till the 18th over. A couple of wickets more would've ended the game and we were aware of that.
Time for the Post-match Presentation ceremony!
This is when the duo of Adithya Ganesh and Muhammed Adnan Khan came together to form a 84-run partnership. While Ganesh played the role of an anchor, Adnan played his shots especially against the spinners. He eventually reached a deserved fifty before getting out in the 14th over. In the next over, Silambarasan got rid of Antony Dhas while M Mathivannan was castled by J Kousik in the 16th over. With 20 runs yet to be achieved, Ganesh fell after scoring 41 off 44 balls but the pair of Saravan Kumar and Poiyamozhi took Trichy over the line with an over to spare.
Saravan Kumar seals the match with that single!! A three-wicket win for Ruby Trichy Warriors to climb to the top of the points table!! The bowlers did the job by restricting Madurai Panthers to just 137/6. However, the chase didn't get off to the best start as Amit Sathvik and Nidhish Rajagopal got out with zero runs on the board. Soon, Sumant Jain was rapped in front by Kiran Akash to reduce Trichy to 10-3.
