Glenn Maxwell: "Yeah, it's a position that I don't mind coming to bat. I have done that many times playing for Australia whenever they lose two quick wickets in the powerplay. Came into the season with good form, and have a good trust in the dressing room.
With the new ball, it skidded off the surface and came nicely to the bat and needed to be proactive. As the ball became old, it became a bit tricky for the batters. You saw the chaos in the last phase of the innings. But thought that the score we put in was enough on this surface.
I thought that it was my job to finish the job for the team. Should have batted through and made sure that we end up posting a big total. If I managed to get through that ball or even took a single, I would have stayed longer and finished the innings. I think it's my job, very simple. There is a big gap in the batting line-up which I have to take the responsibility to fill. Overall, happy with the win."

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain): "To be honest we had this discussion at the toss, the pitch looked dry. The important thing was, we had 10 overs under the lights and if we hit the right lines they could not get it away but with the impact player rule the game is different and we are very happy we could win it.
I was saying to Harshal upstairs because I think this counter-attack was better than the Chennai Game. The way Maxi came out and batted was amazing, to take the game away in just 4 overs, and then Faf joined in too, it was an amazing partnership. We thought at one stage 160 would be enough but the way they batted, they put us in a commanding position.
Siraj's wicket of Buttler was phenomenal, he is bowling as well as I've seen over, he is leading our attack until Josh comes in next game and he has been doing a tremendous job, I'm really happy with him. Harshal bowls the tough overs, he does not have the new ball in hand, and you are going to get hit at times but he is a smart guy and for him to bowl like that and close the game was fantastic. He bowled well in the Delhi game too and once Josh is back we will have a new bowling unit."
