Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator Manan Mehta, scorer Ashok Dayma, and statistician Aman. Also, a big thanks to our helping buddy, Mohammad Anab. Thatβs it from our side. Thanks for joining. But there is one more match scheduled in PSL 2026. So, switch tabs and follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!!!!
Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi Captain): (On the match being closely contested and the middle order stepping up) βYes, it felt like a very close game. After the first half, our plan was to utilise the first six overs well and then build momentum. I think our middle order responded really well and handled the situation nicely. Alhamdulillah, in the end, we finished strongly. It was a very good win for us.
(On whether chasing is the better option on these pitches) It depends on the conditions. If there is dew, then chasing becomes easier. Otherwise, we will decide based on the conditions.
(On the trend of chasing in the tournament) So far in the matches that have been played, chasing has been good.
(On his form and performance) Yes, things are going well.β
Mohammad Rizwan (RawalPindiZ Captain): "The injury to our pacer Zaman Khan has cost us badly and we need to cover that loss.
Our batting is in form. The batters have performed today but in bowling, we need to fix some of the things, like the length and other crucial areas."
Michael Bracewell (Player of the Match): (On his innings and accelerating when the scoring slowed down) βI think we had a great foundation at the start. We got off to a good start, but then we stagnated a bit in the middle overs. After that, we were able to apply pressure at the right time.
(On building on the teamβs platform) The way the others batted was brilliant, and I was able to build on that.β
