Milestone
It's time to wrap up our coverage as well. Perth Scorchers Women outplayed Sydney Sixers Women by a margin of 36 runs to register their third win of the season. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. A special mention goes to Sidharth Gulati for chipping in at the latter half of the match to succor us. CHEERS!
Player of the Match: Alana King.
5:42 PM IST, 8:12 PM Local Time | That's it. A comfortable 36-run win for Perth Scorchers.

After opting to bat first, Perth Scorchers rode contributions from Chloe Piparo (20), Beth Mooney (32), skipper Sophie Devine (26), Amy Jones (28) and Alana King’s unbeaten 33 to post a competitive 166/8 in their full quota of 20 overs. For Sydney Sixers, Ashleigh Gardner took three wickets, Linsey Smith ended with two, while Lauren Cheatle, Maitlan Brown and Kate Peterson grabbed a scalp each.

In response, the Sixers lost wickets at regular intervals and were restricted to 130/9. Their skipper Ellyse Perry hit a fifty, but she fell short of partners. Amy Edgar finished with a four-wicket haul, while King and Devine took two apiece.
