So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, and my co-commentators, Ajay Ahire and Badal. Stay tuned on our network for the coverage of various matches coming from all around the globe.

Ashton Turner | Player of the Match: (On whether the toss was crucial) I ran across at the moment and there was a bit of (dew). But I thought we did bowl well, although things did get a bit loose at the back end. Haven't been able to get a lot of time out there this tournament, felt nice. Sixers have beaten us in these conditions quite a few times over the last few seasons. We've taken some learnings out of those games and it's pleasing to put it into practice. We prepared well before the tournament and knew in advance that this was going to be a tough tournament as we would be on the road throughout.
Some calm batting from Chris Sabburg and Perth Scorchers seal a comfortable five-wicket win with an over to spare. The duo of Daniel Christian and Jordan Silk helped Sydney Sixers post 151-4 but that hasn't proved to be enough.

Chasing 152 for victory, Perth Scorchers didn't have a great start as Ben Dwarshuis removed the opening duo of Kurtis Patterson and Cameron Bancroft. Laurie Evans and skipper Ashton Turner built a decent 27-run partnership but the former holed out to deep mid-wicket off Shadab Khan's bowling. Scorchers were in trouble at 44-3 but Aaron Hardie joined Turner to pull the side out of trouble. The 91-run stand didn't have Hardie contribute much as he had to only constantly provide the strike to Turner.

The Scorchers skipper was muscling balls all over the rope as he didn't spare any of the Sixers' bowlers before going onto register a fifty. Jackson Bird finally broke the partnership in the 16th over but it was too late by then. Things got a little interesting as Hayden Kerr dismissed Hardie after a couple of quite overs but debutant Chris Sabburg held his nerve to take Scorchers home without any more hiccups!

18.6 H Kerr to C Sabburg
1 Sabburg's cameo at the end helps Scorchers win it with six balls remaining. It was a touch short on the stumps, Sabburg pulls it towards square leg for a single.
18.5 H Kerr to C Sabburg
2 The scores are level! Good length on the stumps, Sabburg plays it straight back past the bowler and collects two runs for it.
18.4 H Kerr to C Sabburg
4 Four! This makes things much easier from here on. It was short and outside off, Sabburg guides it into the gap between short third and point for a boundary.
18.3 H Kerr to A Agar
1 Back of a length outside off stump, Agar rocks back and guides it down to third man for a single.
