It's a wrap on our coverage from the second ODI at National Stadium Karachi. The third ODI of the series will be played on 14th November. Do join us for that game and for all the other cricketing action here on One Cricket and Cricket Exchange. Meanwhile it's me Tushar Garg, along with my co-comms Ajay Ahire and Rohit Yadav, bidding goodbye. See-ya
Windies skipper Stefanie Taylor - "We want to get to that stage where we are comfortable batting first. This is a good preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers."
Pakistan skipper Javeria Khan - "Bowlers and fielders were outstanding today. But the batters were a complete disappointment. We couldn't play smart cricket - not being brave at some and not being careful at the other occasions. We need to assess the situations better and act accordingly in further matches"
Hayley Matthews has been adjudged the Player of the Match for her vital contribution towards Windies' successful defence of a low total

The Pakistan Women batters failed to capitalise on the advantage and crumbled against a resolute effort by Windies in the field. Omaima Sohail and Javeria Khan were the shining lights in an otherwise dismal performance. Javeria Khan’s run-out turned out to be the game changing moment. Windies then piled the pressure on the inexperienced Pakistani batting line-up to seal the victory. Hayley Matthews was the standout bowler for them, claiming 4 wickets.

Earlier, in the first innings, Pakistan bowled all but 8 overs of spin bowling and restricted Windies Women to a rather below-par 153. Anam Amin, Nashra Sandhu, Omaima Sohail kept things quiet for the visitors after Fatima Sana’s two strikes at the top. Four of the Windies batters laboured their way to 20s, which proved to be crucial contributions in the end. Windies eventually failed to last their full quota of overs, handing Pakistan the advantage at the halfway stage.

Windies Women take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. They have defended a low total successfully, and in some style winning the match by 37 runs. Chasing 153, Pakistan Women lose 5 for 5 to be dismissed for 116 and bring a pre-mature end to their challenge

39.2 S Connell to A Amin
W Wicket!!! And Connell finishes the things off in style!! Another yorker-length delivery on the off stump line and another batter who misses it as it goes on to hit the off-stump comfortably and with this one West-Indies got a victory here by 37 runs.
