So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, Akshay Bhide and our scorer for this game, Ashok. Do stay tuned to our coverage with more exciting action from the T10 League coming on Sunday. Until next time, it is a warm good-bye
Charith Asalanka (Chennai Braves captain): "To be honest, not much pressure. The asking rate was only 10-12 runs per over, so there wasn't pressure. We went out and talked about our batting and bowling plans. The energy is always there in the team. It is very important to win games, much needed victory after two defeats."
Sikandar Raza (Player of the Match): "Yeah. I think it was needed at that stage. We were losing some momentum and it was good to contribute to the team. I felt we should have won that game in that particular over. I wanted to finish the game and I was disappointed on getting OUT. T10 has certainly raised the level of international cricket and I can't wait for the T10 to get back to Zimbabwe soon."

Bad drop from Hazratullah Zazai and that is that as Chennai Braves register a five-wicket victory. Chasing 107 for victory, the Braves didn't get off to a great start as the openers Kobe Herft and Jason Roy departed within the first three overs. A few deliveries later, Abhimanyu Mithun struck as Bhanuka Rajapaksa holed out to deep cover where Zazai took a fantastic sliding catch.

The Englishman Stephen Eskinazi looked to counter-attack and he succeeded for a while until Tabraiz Shamsi trapped him in front during the sixth over. Just as it seemed like the Northern Warriors were favourites, the Braves' skipper Charith Asalanka showed some positive intent in the seventh over and helped his team get 15 runs off it. Sikandar Raza doubled up on that as he took Angelo Mathews to the cleaners with 25 runs coming the eighth over. The Braves suddenly only required 15 runs off two overs but Mithun wasn't to give up as he used his experience and contained the run-flow before dismissing Raza off the final delivery in the over. Azmat Omarzai was tasked with defending 10 runs off the final over but Asalanka iced the chase with a maximum off the very first delivery. Omarzai tried his best to take the game to the final delivery but the match came to an early end as Zazai dropped Asalanka with the batters completing two runs to get over the line.
9.4 A Omarzai to C Asalanka
2 High in the night sky and dropped by Zazai and the batters complete two runs to close out this fixture. This was a slower delivery from Omarzai outside off and Asalanka is completely deceived by it as he ends up getting a top edge on the slog. Zazai from deep mid wicket runs in and settles under this high ball but fails to hold onto it. The batters complete two runs and take The Chennai Braves across the line with five wickets in hand.
