Nottinghamshire have won this game by DLS Method and have opened their account in this season’s T20 Blast by defeating Worcestershire by 1 run in DLS Method.

Worcestershire posted only 141 runs on the board which did not look enough in this surface. They recovered well with the bat after being 25/3 inside the powerplay. The Innings of Adam Hose (43 off 35) , Nathan Smith (27 off 23) and a late flourish from Ed Pollock (26* off 17) helped them get upto 141/6 in their 20 overs.

Nottinghamshire in reply, got off to a decent start, Joe Clarke got going inside the powerplay but was dismissed by Tom Taylor for 26 off 19 balls. Alex Hales took matter into his own hands as he was unbeaten 50 off 37 balls alongside Tom Moores as Nottinghamshire required just 42 runs off 30 balls. Worcestershire failed to pick wickets at regular intervals and they felt short by the barest of margins in this game.
