Arriving for the chase, Jason Roy and Laurie Evans offered a brilliant start with the bat. After securing 46 runs inside the field restrictions, the pair switched gears. They ensured that many runs come inside the next few overs. Evans struggled to smack hard, but Roy was all gracious. He smoked 76 runs and got dismissed after a 101-run opening stand during the middle overs. This actually shifted the momentum towards the Nottinghamshire unit.
