Northern skipper Shadab Khan, "We tried to play according to modern day cricket, we are trying to adopt the same that's why we made some mistakes such as we didn't play the full quota of 20 overs. I think 150 would have been a good total the way we bowled and the way the pitch played. Also we need to improve our fielding standards. The pitch is very confusing as it grips sometimes and it's completely different in the day and night match."

This was the first occasion in National T20 cup history that Sindh has picked all 10 wickets of their opposition. A completely poor performance with the bat by Northern as the experienced Mohammad Nawaz was the only batter who showed some resistance as he scored 30. Shahnawaz Dhani was the star with the bowl getting impressive figures of 3 for 26. Zahid Mahmood also bowled a brilliant spell in the middle overs.
